A tackle percentage alone would not help a lot because in teams with a an inadaquate or bad secondary the DBs would make then a high tackle percentage. But for DBs many tackles indicates in most cases only that they are not very good defenders because DBs make the most tackles after allowing the catch.
I think a tackle for loss stat would help a lot. Especially for the front seven... |
