When watching the game it would be good if in the list with the tackles tally for each player you could have a missed tackles tally also. I have noticed that the names come up in that list if they miss a tackle but no tally.

I think I remember JD saying somewhere that missed tackles was a hard stat to track and that's why there wasn't already something.

I went to the missed tackle stat for mfn-1 and a ton of players that have the most missed tackles are players with high Tackle ability.

Is the attribute not as effective as it should be or does it all depend on the angle that there coming at?

I think there is more to it than just tackling.
- What scheme is being used and how that player fits into it.
- Low discipline and intelligence? You have to be in the right place at the right time.

Then all the physical stuff, but thats just my 0.02

I have a 99 rated DE would has 99 tackle and strength and running stopping and he has as many missed tackles as tackles. Doesn't make sense to me and I still think the miss tackle thing is still slightly overpowered.

Remember that offensive players have break tackle abilities as well.

Break tackle ability needs to be nerfed!

Get to know your D playbooks and learn to exploit your opponents weakness'. I have have missed tackles as well and usually its because I have called the wrong D. Part and parcel of the game I reckon.
