So I saw another post about Cap Issues, but I wanted to start my own thread.

So I just took over this team, it's in bad Cap Situation. Looking for pointers on what I should do at this point?

i am -23 in cap availible.
46 mil in Dead Cap.

I've looked over your roster and I believe you can get to positive cash flow this season by...
1. Releasing some/all players with 1 year left. Their bonus has already kicked in, so if they are released, you get all their salary back.
2. You have many (good) players with 2 years left. Sift through those players and see what guys you can resign that saves you money this year...Remember, if they can be resigned for 6 seasons, you get to spread that bonus money out.
3. If 1 and 2 don't get you there, I would look at unloading some guys with multiple years left. You only have $4mil in dead cap next year. That wouldn't be that awful if there bonus isn't too high.
