How to put a player at injury list? (or what it's called when wanting to keep a player on contract without using any of the max 53 spots.)

I found it once before for an other player during other period of the season, but I don't find it again now. although I have looked I believe everywhere :)
Is it possible for only some players? Or only during part of the season?

I think it's only possible if the player is seriously injured.

It'll only appear as an option as you pull up the player card if it's a serious injury.

Ironic thing is I've seen like a 4-week hand injury classified as such.

Typically, it's 10-week injuries type stuff.

Injury status has to be "out" (Concussion not included).

Its frustrating as heck to get a Week 11 injury of 10+ weeks and you have to carry them instead of getting a 54th player.

Thank you. (****! Then I have to cut player I want to keep, because both players in one position are rather long time injuried, so I have to keep a rather bad player for that position to have anyone there. Otherwice I had planed to cut him.)
