Here the demand might require a higher contract than 1.2 mil in order to obtain a coach with his talent. I would not care of the high salary if I was to promote them soon anyway. Postion coaches in the NFL averge 400K. Thats 4 mil in total for all of them. Following that line of thinking I tend to get poached and lose out in bids, but I dont mind it. I like to think others are overpaying.
