Just curious and not trying to circumvent the system ..
If a trade is offered to Team A .. Team A's owner abandoneds/drops due to inactivity .. Team A is then picked up by an under 30 day owner. Is that trade still valid?
For the record, there is no trade I am questioning, just a random thought.

i thought when someone abandons the team that the trade gets rejected so i dont think your scenario would happen.
while we are here, do the plays (O and D) and depth chart refresh when a user leaves a team and the AI takes over? What about basic non rule game planning (IE it would be useful to set the D for 10/10/80 N for R/D setting..)? I am trying really hard to set a 3x playoff team team up for the next person, or a decent Ai run, before I leave a league. if they reset to some default, I wont bother to set them. thanks for the info.

To my knowledge the system is designed to protect the intellectual property of an individual and thus when you leave your team it'll reset with AI parameters.
Rules get deleted when an owner abandons a team, but the game plan and depth chart remain until the AI actually enters a game stage with the team, at which time the AI resets everything.
