What order does the computer resolve waiver claims in, best player (based on trade value) to worst, is it random? We've got someone in our league who's way over budget, if his best player gets cut (highly likely), he'd probably be the best guy available on waivers in the league. Would he be the first guy the computer would resolve?

I got some clarification on this a few weeks ago. The team with the worst record from the previous season is at the top of the waiver list. Once a claim is accepted, that team goes to the back of the waiver line.
The order of players ran through the list of teams is random. So each player goes through the wire and the highest team on the list at that time that put a claim in gets that player and then moves to the back of the line.
So in your case, this other owner in your league would get the first player that he claimed that goes through the wire.
I know this is kind of clear as mud, but hope this helps a little.
So, the worst team in league gets their waiver claim resolved first. What if they put in a claim on three different guys? Any way to predict which one is resolved first before he drops to the bottom of the queue and it moves onto the 2nd worst team's claim?

I had though that maybe it started with the lowest rated players and moved up, but JDB confirmed that it was a random order.
