Wounded players on the field
by benguigui @ 5/08/2015 9:11 am
Hi,

What happened if you make your probable and doubtful players take the field.

- Do they have a higher chance of being hurt and out for a longer period? Do they recover slower even if they don't get hurt?
- Do they underperform? Does the way they underperform depend on the location of the wound (for example foot wound will impact the max speed and acceleration but not the pass reception rating)?
- Do they wear out and fatigue more?

Thanks for your answers.

They do have a higher chance of being hurt - the more serious the injury, the higher the probability for them to get another injury. They do not recover more slowly unless they aggravate the injury.

They do underperform based on the injury location. So a hand injury for a kicker will have pretty much no effect, whereas a WR it will. Essentially, each injury is mapped to one or more attributes, and reduces the given attribute accordingly.

No, fatigue is not impacted by an injury.
