5 games left in the season. His knee gets blown out in the last game and my first thought is to look at putting him on injured reserve and see if I can get a serviceable replacement. But the IR button doesn't appear on his card. Did IR go away or something?

I'm not complaining (well, maybe a little) because I think I can make it work, but really just curious.

His status is "DOUBTFUL" not "OUT".

The only time the IR option is given is for the "OUT" designation (concussions excluded). It stinks when you only have a few games left and a 10 week injury.

That’s right! I’d forgotten about the out status.

I think ... emphasis on think .. if the knee had gone to 0 vs 1. you would have had the OUT designation.

I am open to correction on that ..

Maybe I need Tonya Harding to sneak into the training room, finish him off. :)
