Sorry JDB but i feel these areas need a lot of your focus. For reference please see the end of MFN 20 AC Conference final.
Previously you stated a team will run down the clock when in a position to gain the lead for a win. Well in this game in the final 2 mins my team was marching down the field, too much time in hand. Not only did they call TO's but 1 yard from the goal line and 2nd down they spiked the ball to stop the clock? this gave them only one more play before opting for the FG to tie the game, rather than having 2 shots at a TD to win and also draining the clock to ensure the game would go str8 into OT should the FG be needed.
Once again sorry but i feel that these issues are really letting the game down.
As for that game, I am surprised I even had a chance of winning by that stage so am not crying about it, merely constructive criticism.

It looks like that league is still in the 0.2.2 game engine - the clock management updates are in the 0.3 engine, which will be used in that league starting with the next season.

Is the TO situation being looked at?
I would actually prefer it going back the way it was then the current situation it is running now.
In every league I am in TO's are not being used in the first half at all eccept for the alst 2 seconds to kick a fg.
The first play after the 2 min warning that there is an automatic stoppage of the clock on any play that would normally keep the clock moving.

All right, I've added some logic to the last 2 minutes and at your request have back-ported it into the 0.3 game engine. Main things are:
* Offense will try to score a TD at the end of the half, won't play for a field goal. * I had said that the offense will slow down to score a field goal to tie, but I was mistaken. The offense _will_ slow down to try to prevent the defense from having any time left if they think they can score a go-ahead field goal or touchdown, which is a strategy that does have the potential to backfire - don't hesitate to report any issues where you ran out of time at the end of the game. * Defense will now take timeouts in a situation where they think they can get the ball back at the end of both halves.
Please continue to give any reports of poor AI logic in these situations.

Thanks and I'm anxious to see this update in action!
