Can a player have a bad training camp one year and a good one another?

According to jdb, no.

I have seen a player drop slightly their first camp, switch positions, and start gaining (slightly) but it's rare.

If you look at his progression the First season he went up a little , 2nd down a little , and third back up a little again. I see mostly with low volatility players
