Hi, i have many payers with probable injuries (ex Probable (Ankle) - 3 weeks ) but when i set the auto-set depth chart, AI still put them first position. How it's works, if he really injured, he will play very bad or the 2nd man in position will play instead ? Thks

If you click the red minus sign to the left of the players name, it will make him inactive. The player box in the depth chart will be grayed-out to indicate inactive status. Then he is not supposed to play, and the next player down the depth chart will start. You can click the green plus sign that replaces the minus to reactivate a player.
If an injured player plays, he will play badly.
If you have less than 46 players active, the AI will activate some automatically. If you have more than 46 active, the AI will deactivate some automatically.
You can basically ignore "probable" injuries, which won't affect performance. Anything more, and you'll want to consider resting the guy.

First question .. Why autoset the depth chart? Occasionally it will miss some players (if you have 4 RBs it may only set 3).
45 is the minimum

The only positions I auto set are on special teams: rushers, gunners and blockers. But even after that I still do a little tinkering. It’s just unclear to get the “best” players in place and then I can go from there.
Not sure about the OP, but I would guess a lack of knowledge.

Thanks for your answers I used auto set in order to activate or deactivate injured players and hope AI will find a best position for my players. (Maybe not the best idea but only few months i played ^^) I know seriously injured will make inactive but was not sure for probable. Sometimes I have so many injured players..

yes injury management is a thing both here and RL football.
And it's always best to not let ai into your business if you dont have to. They dont like humans.
