Custom plays would help, while also opening a new can of worms

Post patterns & flags are still the best option. Oh! And the RB out of the backfield.

This is why so many of us are using zone flats with increasing regularity.

The zone flat is one of the few defenses that shuts down the hitch and other 212 slant passes because it puts three defenders on either hash.

Which means the hitch only completes 50% with a standard deviation of like 15 per play.

I could rattle off some other defensive strategies for taking away the Hitch et al, but the question remains ... how do you stop throwing picks? I haven't solved that yet.

Exploit the weaknesses in your opponent's defense and hope you have enough play familiarity, FOV, INT, and luck from your QB to find the appropriate player.

Also have a friend that is proficient in SQL and database design...
