Yeah, so this is no small ask.

It would significantly add to the narrative of game replays to have some kind of indication on the field of when a player has been knocked down. Pancakes, trips, sacks, broken tackles, diving catches, reaches for additional yards, all could be visually conveyed if the player sprites had a "prone" variant.

Unusual plays already suggest narrative, this would really help storytelling and personality.
