New manager Trade embargo
by MuttleyGrouch @ 12/23/2019 7:36 am
I know why this is a thing, in that it (1) stops just plain skullduggery and underhand dealings, and (2) is a safety net for new managers either because of (1) but also in their ability to shoot themselves in the preverbials.... but it does come as a double whammy as it is probably most often activated at the end of /start of a season. Was wondering if this was a hard wired programmed into engine thing or league specific? Its never going to be a deal breaker and maybe the H&S thing is worth it - but its been a right royal pain in the *** for me! :-)

It's solely related to the age of your account.

First off, I like the word "skullduggery"

Second, why not let the custom league owners allow the trading by helping to monitor? This would help retain new owners, btw.

Keep the "embargo" for the MFN/CST leagues ..

My 2 pennies ..

Made this suggestion https://badcompany.myfootballnow.com/community/5/6184 that covers the exact same thing. As admin I can void trades that are imbalanced, so can protect new owners who might be being taken for a ride, but I can't do anything to help someone who just used the contract wizard.

Id also add then custom league admins can uncheck a box and get rid of that feature as well.

FWIW, I'd add to get rid of it all together ..
