How much Stock do you give to the weekly spreads in game?

Is it a true telling sign of what one might expect in the sim?

If you are a -14 Underdog is it a foregone conclusion that your chances of winning are very low as in Real Life game?

Depends how much stock you put into the MFN power rankings, because that's how the point spreads are set. The earlier in the season, the more out of whack the power rankings seem.

Also, if you did not already figure this out, 14 is the max point spread for any game.

No. I didn't know that! Now I do lol.

And after last night Sim I was a 14-point dog ended up winning by 10 and was up by 20 + at one point.

Now I'm curious. I might have to start paying closer attention. I just noticed in the Parody league, I'm 6-1 but still a 14 point underdog this week. I don't really have time to keep track of how my teams do vs the point spread. I'd like to know if someone else has.

Like the power rankings, the point spreads are window dressing and highly inaccurate. I would focus on more practical evaluations.

It's based on last season.

I love them! I love being an underdog in every game because of how everything is still based on default ratings and not results.
