Do you have any rules that might have fired to do that? Thy AI shouldn't do for it on 4th down unless you are behind and in hurry up, but if you don't have a rule I'll look into why it might have happened.

Have you taken over an existing team? This happened to me and when I checked there were lots of rules still in place from the previous owner which I had to delete.

It may be an idea to reset the rules when an owner leaves..

This looks like it may have been from the last timeout patch (so it wasn't everyone punting but this is an example of why I normally don't do this level of a patch midseason) - I believe it's been fixed, let me know if it happens again in any future games.

For the record, I think it's a good idea to test any new patches, etc., in MFN-1. But, once it is determined that it works as expected, I see no reason to wait until a new season begins to implement it in other leagues.

Such as the new player generation. I have no idea why a complete season would need to be run before this could have been added to current leagues.

Right, but they are generated once the playoffs begin. We had to wait until the end of the NEXT regular season. So, two full seasons.
