There could be. When the game was created/generated QBs would run often but we've been through so many various versions and my sense is there isn't a style basing/rating structure for QBs.
The main factor with QBs in if they'll be in ineffective is if the speed/acceleration is low alongside poor avoid fumble with an overall default rating of elite - 90+/90+ due to 100s pinned everywhere except the vitals I highlighted before.
So, it's a deceptive dominator but it doesn't play out that way.

So, what's wrong with this guy? [url}https://ncaa-football.myfootballnow.com/player/6780[/url]
This is a lost season anyway, but I'd sure like to figure him out. Do I surround him with raw speed, skill be darned? The one receiver he got along with was that way.

Arm strength/pass release combo. Hone in on that.
No, not raw speed. He can work but you'll have to stay close to strictly short and medium passing with a nice stable of receivers. 2 speed guys to work 1 via the back-field and 1 for WR routes and then you'll need 2-ish pinned to 100s Pass Catching/Route Receivers with 75+ ish speed.

That's not happening in this league, because I can't trade. Guess I'll have to just give up! Sure would have been nice to know all that ahead of time.

Are there specific plays which are causing INT's. It may be that a play that works in a different league may be suited to a quick release or a cannon for an arm, whereas a QB who holds the ball a little longer or can't throw the deep ball may have trouble with those plays

Generally, this guy keeps trying to throw deep ***** which he can't do very well, which goes back to the style question. It would be nice, before I just give up on this guy, to know what his personality is. If he's going to turn out to be a digital Jay Cutler, I should at least have a digital way to know that. It would be easier to change the quarterback than to change all my receives, but if I'm going to do that I want a reason to believe the other guy will be better.

NCAA League?
Let me look at the play calls, however, I'd cull back the long pass calls then so the sim engine can't go to them.
Ok. Immediate improvement = removal of PA Streaks.
Time machine back to v4.2 - this play in of itself is the reason for the long passing nerf. It used to turnstile DBs for an endless conga line of touchdowns.
Arm strength moderates accuracy the deeper the target is .......I think it is something like a pass less than 12 yards is not penalized for the distance the ball is thrown. 4.4 you could spam a ton of short passes to 80+% completion rates. 4.5 is different cause qbs will throw deeper but they will dump it off plenty with the right set of senerios.
To me a weak arm guy is a game manager and strong armed guy can sneak it in to those deeper windows. That’s How I classify them under 4.5. Going a bit deeper and imaginative I play them like this
A guy with low FOV and or intelligence will force more throws but it’s not the worst if your receivers are considerably better, but this guy will need a good arm. That’s any big risk taking QB one who gets big plays but a bit more ints as well. Any nfl gunslinger falls into this category for me and I find many in leagues FAs
The Alex Smith type has sub 70 arm and an ability to avoid some rush ...or just get through his 3 step drop quick and get rid of the ball. I use different sets of plays at different rates than the prototypical gun slinger above. This guy had a higher default due to low intangibles but his effect plays are a bit limited
My preference is the Russel Wilson type. Pretty much all the intangibles, accuracy, but maybe not 99 arm strength still above 84 -88. With QBs not scrambling much it almost makes faster qbs a bit more valuable than the slow ones. I like at least 60-70 speed or above for these guys. This guy I will use a blend of the two sets of plays between the gunslinger and game manager.
