What is the last point in the season that you can renegotiate with players on your roster

The "end of season" stage is the last stage where players will evaluate their offers before they become free agents.

Let me ask a different way, I am in early free agency and I can offer any of my players a new contract. When does this option end.

Any player you did not sign in the current season can be offered a new contract at any time during the season through the end of season stage. So if a player is in a contract year, you can wait until the end of the season to renegotiate if you want.

I am looking for a little clearity. At what point is the " end of season" happens. Is it after the final game in the post season, or the last game your team plays, or something else.

When renegotiating contracts sometimes after you hit the submit button, it says "player will not renegotiate for a bonus under X amount of dollars"... do we have to accept that X amount or is there a way to get that lower?

That's basically his agent saying that if you don't offer that bonus then he wants to test the FA market - so no, you have to either accept it or let him walk.
