I'm looking for owners actually interested in the roster management aspect and want to build authentic rosters....not owners who will probe the edges for loopholes and constantly try to find work around.
This league will be for owners who joined this game with dreams of becoming the GM of a francise and building a team.
A player will change to the position weight fairly quickly. So are you saying he can't play in a regular season game until he makes weight ? Not trying to probe, just knowing that some players are not in their best position at draft time. I would be interested in this league.
Look, like I said. Its about putting together a realistic roster based on NFL football. I'm not gonna micro manage the league and be a stickler about the weights.
Its a base guideline and standard.
I want owners to join with those standards in mind when drafting a team. You can't convert a 190 CB to RDE because he won't gain enough weight but if you convert him to linebacker and he caps out at 230 instead of 237 then I think we can live with that.
Its not that complicated friends.
Too many owners have 12-15 WRs and CBs on their roster so players lose weight and gain speed. They end up at RB, FB, TE and MLB and DE.
This is about making a 315 DT important again....instead of playing 275 DEs with 77 speed at DT....everyone with play a true DT.
Thats the goal....thats the dream....if you can't live with that...don't join
I would join so long as we can change positions right after we draft someone. There are times when the position assigned by MFN doesn't suit their skill set and sometimes I like to draft a TE and make him a RB.

Yeah Greg, I said this earlier. It's not about being super strick really....TE's make the best RB's in my opinion because they end up somewhere between 217-225 pounds after switching to RB. Thats a more accurate weight for RBs IMO....190-198 pound backs wouldn't hold up over several seasons due to wear and tear.
We are all football fans or we wouldn't be here so everyone has a pretty good idea who should and could play where based on their size.
You can play a 190 pound player at DE in MFN and dominate but everyone knows that would never happen in the NFL....just like you can play a 198 pound player at TE or FB in MFN and dominate but everyone knows that would never happen in the NFL.
THEY WOULD GET RAGDOLLED!
That's the whole point of this league concept.

You can change a player to whatever position you want as long as he falls within the weight standards for that position.
We can finalize all that latter but for example:
FB/TE interchangeable with a weight limit minimum around 245 lbs.
RB must be over 200 pounds
WR no weight limit
OL all interchangeable with C 265 minimum weight. The rest minimum 280
LDE/RDE/DT interchangeable with DE set at 265 minimum and DT at 290
