Is the first 'roll' to decide which of the 5 plays (LP,MP,SP,OR,IR)? Or does the personnel somehow get chosen first and then they chose a play from it? Or does the formation get decided first?
Despite things ticking over alright, I'm deciding to have a bit of an overhaul to my gameplanning/sliders/rules etc. I don't think I'm ever going to beat the top guys who study previous games and adjust etc if I don't get my game up to scratch too.
I've even tried to analyse which plays we're throwing all these INTs on...but it's totally random when it comes to down, distance, type of play and actual play. So I'm at a bit of a dead end there....perhaps I've simply got Jameis Winston playing under center!
Any advice would be appreciated as ever!

Idk the answers, other than writing your own rules will allow you to control which plays are used on which downs. If any rules overlap, the first one listed is used.

To be honest I don't really know the order when it comes to defense in real life!! It always seems too late to change formations once the offense are lined up

By jdavidbakr - Site Admin 4/24/2018 7:26 pm remember that the dice roll first chooses the play type and then a play within the type.

play type > play within a type is not always true. EG: Dime plays will not be called unless player created rules dictate them to be. I know that when the AI calls D plays, the results are only in Nickle 1 deep for man secondary. Blitzes pull more from man secondary than 1 deep. The AI will never call dime secondary coverages.
I mention this here only because what I call the "Plinko Board" the AI uses - in this case play type > play within a type does not always apply. Especially on Defense.
Tons of great info in this thread. :)

Thanks CSB for your input, but I think I’ve gone a step too far for me or maybe it’s simply time I got some sleep here!! Too technical for me :(( Thanks anyhow
