I would specify the injury type and see how severe it is. Relate that to your scheme and see if you think the player can play with that injury. In which, I think depending on his opponent, the RT, and his own teams scheme would really matter for me.

But really, Im not sure what is the best for this game but this is something I found from the NFL which night help.

"Overall, 94.4 percent of probable players played that week. The Patriots were one of three teams to have 100 percent participation. In terms of percentage played, the Broncos again bring up the rear with just 85.2 percent. So it seems like Denver listed too many players as probable when they should have been questionable. Given only five of Denver's 23 questionable players played, maybe some of those should have been doubtful."

Its a decent football outsiders article. Which goes into more detail but I think is a good guideline to follow, but they have different rules that would slightly favor playing guys here instead.

My understanding is that you can play him. However the chance of him being reinjurred will go up. But only slightly, if he is doubtful the chance on reinjury is even higher. Also the type of injury may have an effect on his play. Example would be a QB with an arm injury may not be a good idea.

Hope that helps.

I'd like to raise the issue of ....QUESTIONABLE.

In RL a HC makes a game day decision based on what he knows medically and from taking to the player. In this game obviously, the latter is not available.
So actually I have no idea if he can play or not. In this instance its my HB who's ankle is listed as 36 (36%?). Being a RUNNING back obviously this impacts his game quite severely but I still don't know how much.
Could there be another way where we can evaluate injuries on the 'questionable' tab?

The classifications basically are there to give you a quick perspective of the severity of the injury. It just helps you decide what the risk is to playing vs. sitting the player.

For a questionable player, you might want to look at the injury itself to help you make the decision, but for the most part the terms are there to help you group the severities together.
