This all sounds like sour grapes to me!!

Smirt has been in my XFL LEAGUE for 20 seasons and follows every custom rule I set to include the punt block exploit.

He hasn't had a 1st round pick for 10 of the last 11 seasons because he uses the strategy of trading away picks for proven talent. That's not illegal, at least in my league.

Smirt wins and it upsets owners that can't compete with him. I was there, years ago and it forced me to get better or continue to lose to him.

Smirt and I are in the same Conference and have played 17 times in the regular season where I'm 9-8 against him over 20 seasons. In the playoffs, we have met 11 times including 8 Conference Championship games where I'm 5-6 Alltime against him in the playoffs and 4-4 in the Conference Championship game.

Bottom line, if you don't like Smirt.....beat him!!! He follows league rules so if their are exploits you don't like in a league...make rules against them!

In the XFL, we have punt block rules, DL and LB rules plus no WR at RB rules along with no offensive players on defense or vice versa plus a offensive play count minimum of 25 plays per game.....and guess what??? Smirt still wins!!!

Owners hate Smirt because they can't beat him because he is incredibly good at this game....rules or no rules!!!

Personally, Smirt can be annoying in the forums and half the time I have no idea what the he'll he is talking about but he is simply a strange character. He is super competitive and does get super defensive at times but the bottom line is he forced me to be a better owner.

That's my advise to all the owners that have a problem with Smirt......be better!!!

I would concur with all of the above. If you have rules in place and they are adhered to, he will also follow suit (begrudgingly, at times).

Oh, and beating him isn't going to make him like you any better ;o) You'll just go on the list of names he uses to fuel his fire.

I think I beat smirt in a few championships and never fell into the speed/punt block stuff (from memory, had 5 blocked punts against me in one game and still won).
