Undersized O Line

Just drafted a Center, and I'm switching him to RT even though he's 6'2" and 290 lbs. I might just make him a Guard, but might be a fun experiment.

Anyone have any experience trying this?

The 6'2" could lead to him being more injury prone. You get a feel for it but an in-the-trenches blocker at a certain height is more likely to get popped than a 6'4" through 6'6" monolith.

I don't look at height much except WR but that center's weight will increase with time. Most OL gravitate toward the same weight based on position, and centers are usually the lightest.

Yeah. My concern is the height making him injury prone like Smirt said. I have a 5’11” linebacker in XFL that always gets hurt that I’m gonna have to move to safety.

We’ll see how it goes this season. Worst case I have two stud centers for trade bait.

Thanks, guys.
