I can point to personal experience if you want though. I worked at a camp where most of the campers + counselors were either not straight, non-binary, or both. They joked about that + how inclusive the community was compared to the real world all the time (especially since the camp was in an area of my home state that, compared to the rest of the state, had a lot of Confederate flags where I drove through, to succinctly describe it).

See, there's this thing called humor, not sure you've heard of it, and people like to use it as a way to point out things, good or bad, about their communities. ColonelFailure pointed out something positive about his community, unique to his community, and you chose to take it at face value as an attack toward women. That's on you.

This whole thread is full of people who want to add gender customization in the game and you are detracting from it with word vomit diatribe about how a joke highlighting a positive aspect of a community is sexist. I want to see gender customization in the game and text to match it. No reason not to add it considering this is an online sim where nothing has to be realistic and you can attract a larger user base.

People are getting nasty with you not because of your message, but rather the way your message comes across. Is there any way you can defend your position without getting on your high horse and acting holier than thou?

Funny part is I agree with him about gender inclusion in the game but we joke about him getting mad at a joke and this happens.

This has dragged on long enough that I'm not even sure you all know exactly what you're trying to argue about anymore. It's sure hard to tell from reading it over in review.

It's fine if you all want to get each other riled up, but surely there's a place you can do that that isn't derailing a perfectly reasonable suggestion box submission that you all seem to somehow generally agree with and support.
