What if there was a feature where at the end of the season, there would be an All-Pro Team for each conference. Basically, Pro Bowl selections. And they would also gain a development boost? Same applies if we'd make MVP, Rookie of the Year, Most Improved, etc.

I don't think a development boost really makes sense.

Maybe instead of a development boost a skill boost in the main skill for whichever position a player plays. For instance a QB would get a 2 point boost in Field of Vision. A RB would get a 2 point boost in Speed or Break Tackle. A SS would be in Run Defense or M2M Coverage etc. These boosts would be temporary during the next season only, unless the player made all pro again, or was selected for the pro bowl whichever works best.

To win the awards they would surely already be top players. Why would they need a rating boost?

But maybe an all-rookie team of the year would work?

I do have on the list to have a POW/All-Pro team - but Sardean's idea is something I had not thought of and really like. I'm going to add this idea to that ticket.

Im finding it hard to elvaluate players based on the stats available. For example, Oline would be subject to opinion in the running game.. Also, when doing my own version it is tough to find correlation between the top statistical performers and who actually wins games. But, still the numbers I got in one league were pretty good, and as the code tightens up I am excited to see stuff like this take form. I just wish there were more stats.

I would think that even the top guys could use that temporary boost. Maybe instead of a primary stat boost it could be a complimentary stat boost. Like vision for O Line or Scrambling skill for a pocket passer. Also I do like the idea of more statistics for all of us to work with. Hurries would be my first category. In watching the sim I can clearly see that Hurries have an effect. It would be nice to see the stats.

If we give players a bonus for making the pro bowl.How much are you thinking Jd?The one thing we can not do in contracts is give player incentive clauses for making the pro bowl,leading the league in certain categories , or winning a super bowl.You could even throw in rookie of the year,super bowl mvp,and league mvp.
