Oh so then you’d be more content if it aligned with high school, or maybe peewee football.

Maybe instead of tackling they could just hug. And instead of a football they could use a balloon.

We've got an economy in the toilet, a big election coming up, but this games #1 priority should be making football less like football!!

Really, it's a football management sim clearly modeled after the NFL without any NFL license.

8 divisions
Same cities as all 32 NFL teams
Same playoff seeding
Sorta Same playoff tiebreaker

So yeah, it's a sim about the NFL and all Sims look to closely emulate the real thing.

First let me apologize if I've hurt anyone's feelings or my comments came off as an attack.

I have sons so Madden exist in my home but I hate the family game because it doesn't come close to the NFL and they have an NFL license.

MFN with all its warts is the best roster management sim that emulates the NFL!

Stats produced in most non-roster only leagues actually come surprisingly close to the NFL in many areas. It's not perfect, it needs some work but the bones of an incredible game are there.

I understand it's a one man show and progress is very very slow but fixing the speed issue, long passing and the physics of the game as it pertains to players physical size should have been fixed before any attempt was made to completely overhaul the UI which I've never heard any owner complain as the biggest issue.

I get upset because I'm passionate about the game and when I get blindsided by "know it alls" who don't even own a team.

I'm finished posting in the general forums because it's just a trap and I will return to my leagues where I can post fun stuff.

That's ultimately why Im here to have fun!!!!

In the end I want the game to succeed more than any of you. Sometimes I think more than jdb.

Years of playing honestly, bug checking , giving constructive feedback, and being part of a community of people while staying optimistic about the games future.

No one can take that experience away from me.

I respect jdbs move to update the ui, because it provides a foundation to scale off of. He is planning ahead for growth.

And I expect him to use future code changes that head the game in the right direction to drive sales of his product he has created for us to enjoy
