Greetings, everyone, and welcome to December!

I have some very good news to share about this month's update. Here is the list of what's included:

Current position has been added to the player card
Fixes to the boxscore
Fixed issue where main homepage breaks if you are not logged in
Fixed some server errors
Playoff Picture has been added
Power Rankings have been added
Hall of Champions have been added

And guess what? This concludes the first pass where all functionality has been moved to the new UI. The game should be playable in the new UI. This is a huge milestone in this migration!

But I've also heard you about some of the complaints about the new UI. I'll be starting to address those issues in the next releases, now that functionality has been ported.

JDB, I can't locate player stats in the new UI!

I've asked several times but I've never gotten a straight answer. I don't see it in any menus and the league home page shows player awards but no option for who leads the league in passing or rushing plus Alltime Career stats.

Those are hidden if you have spoilers off - turn off the spoilers button on the top of the page, and the players of the week will show up. From there you should be able to get to the more granular searching. Is that what you're looking for?

I'm looking for this:



The sortable player stats for passing, rushing, receiving etc by game, season & career. The league awards are worthless to me. I use the player stats to do my writeups as league administration and it seems absent in the new UI.

If I'm wrong then it's very difficult to find!

This is a ridiculously niche and unnecessary process for such important GM info. Over complicated process. The information requested by GDB shouldbe up front, easy, and not require knowing some weird trick hidden deeply in the unsearchable forums.

Or you could just have yourself and others answering this question repeatedly until eternity because the forum search (edit:) s. u. c. k. s. so bad.

Most players hide spoilers. There is some weird gratification to clicking "show game resuts," - kinda like opening a surprise present.
All anticipation and then the ah-ha or the hum-hah.

It should not require removing hide spoilers to show player stats.

That's my position on the matter.
Most players like hiding game results, and getting that aha or that uh oh, JDB.
Regardless of hide spoiler options, player and league data should always be 100% accessible to anybody (including players not in that league).

We want the stats.

While I was asking you about the player stats, I just realized I can't find the league transactions page which I use every season to see all the players that retire so I can compile my Hall of Fame ballot.

Plus I can't find the sortable Team Stats tab which I use to calculate my own custom power rankings.

This all has me very concerned since you state all the data has been switched to the new interface.

Is there a matrix for this game or are we all just winging it? Would be really easy if there was a document that mapped each page out. Should also have an equivalent for attributes and formulas for the rolls since they are programmed. I constantly get the feeling no one actually knows, everyone is guessing, and JDB doesn’t have firm documentation so tends to not be completely aware.

You're also right in that there is no comprehensive documentation about what is where. One of the hazards of doing this part time and trying to reduce the time between updates.

A wiki would be your friend.

Not sure if they cost but games I play (fallout76 et al) have them, not sure if free - could hold documentation, allow community to add in information (Setherick's stuff etc) some of which gets lost when leagues close and also maybe get a few more eyeballs on the game.
