It's an ish-you and not an ish-me.

During my morning meditation today i contemplated this very phrase.
I realized 2 steps -1 step is still 1 step forward (2-1=1).
It's still progress. We make mistakes and we move forward. I realized in my personal life sometimes i want too much, too soon, and get angry because I expect 2 steps, dammit and by golly i deserve it.
Ultimately, it's my expectations that can lead me to believe any step backwards equals failure.

Such is not the case.
I found it to be profound in regards to me, personally.


To go back to the quote: 1 step forward is still moving forward.
I get the point of the post i quoted. Like yeah, i relate and can agree. But... things are still moving forward in MFN, albeit 1 step at a time. I'm here because i want to be which means i just have to place some trust. It's certainly gonna be a super long haul, but I have snacks and drinks so let's ride it out until we get there.
Change is hard.
but it can be done.
