Benefits leagues by increasing pool of players, given so many FA never develop.
Allows owners to plan for future, allowing players to develop outside of gameday rosters.
(Selfish) - means that owners can have a pool of players ready to step in when they get their inevitable game one injuries, so don't then have to cut others to bring in replacements.

Good idea in theory but our player pools lack decent enough talent to do this imo. In USFL free agency doesn't have much to offer usually and if we take 100 or so players out of the FA pool, we might as well scrap it all together.

To do this we would need a larger player creation pool, or an improvement in talent across the board. Too many drafts are **** after 2 rounds.

The balance is out of whack. Players should still boom or bust like always but do we really need RBs with 50 speed or less? QBs that couldn't throw the ball in the ocean if they were standing on the beach?

If we're going for realism, I'd like to see IR with a designated to return.

The odds of post draft progression won't change, but we get more players in the pool.

Drafts s. u. c. k. An overwhelming amount of players are no longer position specific, there are too few players in the draft to compensate full leagues.

The draft pool has become over-reliant on position changing to fit needs instead of having players that actually fit their draft positions.
The draft pool is way too small and way too limited in actual positional talent.

If owners must change player positions beginning late round 2 because there are far too few players in the draft combined with even less players that are position specific...
I'd like to say eventually, but let's just say there's not enough players to have a proper draft or a proper FA in any league that is full.

The draft pool sucks.
The FA pool sucks as a result.
It sure would be nice to have many players of quality at every position in a draft than the 5 or less quality players at each position we deal with now.

Either have more players worth drafting, or more players in the draft class.

I as an owner I need more talent.
positional or numerically, I need more options through more players available or more players of weight at each position.
More players in the draft.
