Considering over-rides are private and that the rl NFL publishes depth charts, i would really like for all players to to easily see depth charts for all teams in all leagues.
Additionally, I think it would be helpful for admins with position requirements to easily see each team's depth chart.

perhaps the "position distribution" info could have a sub tag of "opponent position distribution" as a starting point.
Heck, if position distribution showed "the team i'm looking at" position distribution on that team's home page instead of only mine, all the time - it would be huge.
Yuge!

..please avoid saying the data is already there. I know that. It's a ton of work to compile opponent data for a feature that already exists within the game. I just got off work.
I don't want to do more work here.

Data is already there...
... it's something I'm looking at myself.
What I'd like to see is it added to some kind of scouting functionality.
Never have full knowledge of opposition data, but send scouts out. Your knowledge of division rivals will always be greater than any other, obviously, but have scouts give that info with a % level of confidence... so you get info, but maybe not 100% accurate.
Alternative being as you say, publish depth charts - but those depth charts are pegged at the chart as it stands when midweek sim runs; that does enable some tweakery.

All you did is tell me to do what I and others already do. The information should be MUCH easier to access.

Yes, please. Post midweek, prior game sim is PERFECT!

The thing is tho, if you extensively use overrides then the depth chart can be meaningless.
You can get an idea who backups could be for formations, but not who the starters are.

Agreed. Yet, both college and pro football require a public depth chart be available 48 hours before gametime. Instead of thinking about why we should not have it, perhaps think about why we should. It's an easy inclusion. It'l save game planners some work. It adds just a small bit of realism. It doesn't give the opponent an advantage. It's easy to code. more features = more subscriptions.
