So, a couple years ago I took in my then 6 yr old autism 1 grandson full time.
Today, I mentioned I had a draft pick and he, soon to be 8 come thanksgiving day, totally gave me some space the 30 minutes before.
Granted, he bartered some Minecraft bonus time out of the moment, but dude knows when I say it's draft day in that football game I play it's important to me.
We've come a long way regarding being patient. Him much more than me :)
Anyway, it was a shared moment between us of so many, and a good one at that.
I just found it a bit tender so i thought i'd share.
