Granted, the source is incredibly light weight, so any further development of a more enlightened, detailed, what ever you actually are looking to discuss response, will also be light weight.

A lot of gm's use that moment to inform admins that they will leave a league, so that moment has merit, and is worthwhile.
I recently used it to ask if i could switch or trade teams in my league in a PM t my admin. I got zero response.
It is of value to have the request/prompt. I always - ALWAYS - use it to renew in my league of choice.
I hope that's enough detail for you to escape your derision.
