trying to make an offer but the preloaded number in the box will not decrease. the number is way high like coordinator high but im trying to offer 1 mil for 3 years. wont let me, cant figure it out. the slider is already all the way to the left. i dunno. i put my own number into the box and it goes right back to the preloaded number

I've heard from some in XFL about this as well. I'm just now digging into trying to sign coaches there and the search function is messed up. I can't generate a list of HC candidates based on offensive style, just get a blank screen other than the headers.

Please fix soon, I can't keep delaying the sim forever.

I have tried to sign 3 coaches but the pending offer list changes the values of my offer.



I offered the $122 million to the head coach but offered the coordinators $66,666,666 each. That's not what this screen shows though and when I go to fix my offer, it shows I offered $122 million, which I did not.

Been testing contracts in NCAAF league.

1. Select several unemployed coaches, position populated with Head Coach; request returns

This is incorrect - the request to get the offer contract page has Head Coach selected, Defensive Line not selected.

Select 6 years. Position remains Defensive Line.

Set salary to my position max, 21463789.
First year salary is then reset t0 42927579.

Even setting it to 21463790 has same behaviour.

It is therefore forcing new position coaches to have the salary co-ordinators have.

5. Same player, select positon as Defensive COordinator. Enter max co-ordinator salary of 429275759. Value accepted and not changed.

6. Same player, select position as Head Coach. Set salary to my max of 85855157, value accepted and not changed

CONCLUSIONS
===========

1. Contract offer page seems to be persisting state across invocations, namely the position value.

2. This is causing the UI to ignore the value in the response, which should be Head Coach by default.

3. If you are trying to hire a position coach, the UI is NOT allowing you to enter anything under the current lowest value you have for co-ordinators.

4. The network request made when you enter the salary is :-

From this, I would suggest the error is within state / javasscript used within the UI.

I think the core issue is the coach position being incorrect. This would forces the salary to be higher.

That request made from the UI is stating the position is Head Coach when it has been set to Defensive Line; the max position coach salary would thus not be sufficient to be valid.

I'd not be sure that it's changed the values, as in amended the offer made.

More likely it's a rendering issue.

i got it to work now not sure what happened
