Does ANYONE have any heavy zone strategies that are effective here? If so please explain some of them. Thanks

Usually I learn (ha) from you.
You're in MFN-1, there are changes being made to Zone in a few areas; initial work is to address Zone vs the run, partly around Zone defenders needing to react better.
Going back to the middle of the Zone as the RB gets the ball and hits the LoS gouges Zone defences.
FWIW, I've switched from heavy blitzing to heavy zone (3-4); reset rules so only got a simplified set there which will work on, do need to get some defenders better at zone too. May go Heavy Zone (4-3) if I see any progress as my def plays selected are really 4-3 focused - with a lot of Nickel. My approach is basically Zone defending with a lot of blitzing, to hopefully work against the run.
MFN-1 has a game tonight, so maybe look at my game vs New England and also ArmoredGiraffe's games, they are doing Zone to check things out too.
Oops, don't play till tonight - if I'd known, would've recruited FAs.
Anyway, I'm focusing on using Zone plays, man only where there's no other choice - which means my defensive playbook is lean - 18 or so plays in total - because for now I'm using blitzing as I do for man schemes to work against the run game.
I'm probably going to go more away from using blitzes over times, widen my rules out to be more scenario specific, as right now, it's going to be a case of just short/medium/long plays only.
When long passes get worked on, I'll be in mad bomber mode.

Need to analyse mfn1 game tomorrow, the didn't seem to do too badly Vs division leader with zone Vs run, with the caveat that the plane was blitz heavy, almost certainly evading the issues. Left me in nickel too many times, will be evolving the gameplan for non shotgun offences. Acid test will be more plays with lb in zone or zone in.
