Since 2013 there has never been an effective 113 long pass. New play suggestion: flea flicker. Wr #1, Wr #2, Te all fake run blocking and perform tight, short outs. Wr #3 explodes on a long streak up the middle.

Long passing is being worked on, passing in general; aim being to get it more realistic. Avoid extremes of endless sacks whilst avoid 500+ yard games routinely.

As for flea flicker, not sure if the game engine / display would handle multiple play stages (handoff, throw back, throw forward) without serious work, possibly.

Trying to add new pizzazz like the 212 pitch sweeps or pa roll-out. The only added visual would be the rb flip back + never in mfn history has a 113 long pass been effective.

It's good thoughts, Smirt. That's why you're so useful to the game.

For a lot to work, though, imo other issues need to be resolved.

What I would say is that whilst passing in general is being addressed (long passing in particular), as seen in mfn-1, something like a flea flicker would be an incredibly niche play when you've a finite number of offensive plays you can select for your playbook for a game.

Equally, you could gameplan to spam the play - or at least have it called more times than you'd expect to see. It's one of those trick plays, pretty rare after all.

It would be interesting to see it implemented, for sure, but for me it smacks of a specific play an owner would want to be able to call in real time rather than have asa play "in rotation" depending on RNG.

Spam wouldn't work. Sucker in / trick shot. I do my 113 run run run thing and then 2nd or 3rd and short on a / against run key - bye bye. Tactic + jdb has never scripted an usable 113 long pass play.

Game needs a jolt + I am finding the areas in the off play book that needs massaging. 1 rb / 4 wr set and 113 long passing etc.

All passing, especially long, is being worked on in mfn-1.

Need a larger sample set to determine but early signs encouraging.

212 pa streaks and 122 wr streaks were turnstile tds to wr 1 or 2. I miss that aspect.
