Play suggestion: 1. QB has the option to run left, right, or up the middle. Called play. 2. Screen plays 3. RB or WR option to run or pass the ball. 4. Defense-254. 2 linemen, 5 LB's/DB's, 4 DB's. All LB's & DB's have option to blitz, M, or Zone. I know it would be a lot of work for JDB and for the owner, but think of all the defensive options you would have. It would rival the 86 Bear D. You could set that up as an override. Actually, you could use that as your main D because of all the options it allows.
I don't think anyone should expect any anytime soon; aside from the coding - maybe display issues need addressing on top of potential game engine work - any play has to be carefully analysed to avoid bringing in something that is overpowered / exploits game engine issues that can't be quickly resolved which then provides a game imbalance.
Whilst a jet sweep would be cool visually, I suspect it would be way too powerful - also suspect Smirt's just trying to find work for his 856 WRs ;)
I play defensive now. I am trying to sprinkle in ideas to revitalize the game. Screen play was in my mind - great idea! 1 RB / 4 WR needs 1 run or 2 added to it (1 in / 1 out) and a screen pass. I was looking and that formation fits it.

Yup, sounds right to me - though you'v triggered my PTSD of Mike McDaniel calling endless bubble screens.
Screens for me would require a lot of pre-work in the game engine. We know speed kills, I think can see a situation where screens won't work as O line won't be able to get there before defence does, especially when blitzing.

My thoughts.
1. Most QBs don't have great acc/speed. Useful for those that do, of course - they could be dual threat QBs - but any other QB would/should get slaughtered by defensive players. 2. I HATE SCREEN PLAYS (thank you McDaniel). Would need a lot of work as I can see O lineman not getting there quickly enough, so speed issues would need addressing. Bubble screen to a trips formation, possibly. 3. Can't see it working. Any QB with < 50 pass accuracy is useless as it stands - you're simply not going to find RB/WR good enough to throw the ball. As an example, have a RB/WR QB for you in pre season. Results are not pretty. 4. Bit wacky for me, and I suspect could be handily defeated in some scenarios, but massively op in others.
