Remove the current code that causes the winning team (22+ points or whatever it is) to "lose" interest supposedly. Losing teams lose interest in these scenarios as well. Instead either give teams the option of playing depth players as starters when up by "x" amount of points or just have the team do this automatically. This mechanic can cause teams to have optimism that whatever plays they are running during blowout have actually been somewhat successful and I do not see how it is beneficial to the game as a whole if the losing teams are not getting accurate reads on the plays that they are running and continue to run bad plays because they ran successfully a few times during bad games.

I totally agree. I have had teams totally shut down through 3 quarters before then all of a sudden the QB completes like 14 out 15 in the 4th Quarter while my QB will go like 2 for 7 and every run is stuffed

We also risk injury too our starters as well in blowout games.I would rather them be benched then hurt for the next game or out a few weeks.

+1. I've blown bigger leads. It started when the blowout mechanic started. I've also had my starting QB injured late in a blowout game. This would remedy both the issues I've experienced.

I usually will lose my HB since I will tend to run more

Definitely needs some attention. My last scrim I jumped on the team and went up 21-0. By half time it was 21-9 and by the end of the game I went down 25-21. Just happened to score a TD with 40 secs left in the game to win it 28-25. Most of the back-ups that were playing were actually starters for me last season so it wasn't because I had scrubs playing.
