Here's how MFA works now:
- Two options: Email or Google Authenticator.
- Email: at login you'll receive a code by email that you must enter to sign in.
- Google Authenticator: a code is generated every 30 seconds by an app on your phone, and you enter that code during login. There are several authenticator apps you can use.
- If you haven't used Google Authenticator before, it can feel a bit like being a secret agent—it's a quick, convenient MFA method, and it's my favorite.
