I not good with words, sometimes one of my Grandkids will leave a message for me! I have been here a long time and have said MFN keeps me going. The last 16 years I have been dealing with a bad heart and as some of you know I'm in and out of hospitals every year. I do miss some time here, the longest I think was around 3 weeks and I do my best to let my MFN family know! This Tuesday will see me on the table once more and they will decide if open heart surgery is needed. If that takes place it could be months to recover and be back to MFN and some football that I can't do with out! League Admin, I ask for you to hold my teams if you will please! If the worst happens and I don't make it off the table, its been great playing you owners and maybe one of my family will leave word. Thanks for your time and see you on the field! TRSLICK
We wish you the best Slick, you have to end up fine because MFN wouldn't be the same without you...as far as your teams in XFL and USFL, they'll still be there waiting on you. Hopefully you'll be back at it very soon but should this linger, the system may boot you from any leagues in which you haven't renewed. If this should happen in either of my leagues, your teams will remain open until you return.

Good luck Slick, you've got this! I never mentioned this before but recovering from a triple bypass in 2015 is what got me started playing mfn football. Sitting in bed or sometimes my recliner, I had plenty of time for it. The surgery itself went fine, but the recovery was rough for a few days after. I don't know if you have ever rode a horse, but it's like gettin thrown by a horse and then have the son of a ***** kick you in the ***. But I know a tough old coot like you can take that all day long! God bless you slick and God's speed in your recovery!!!
