I've used this name when I played in GLB classic since season1, I'm sure some of you heard the name maybe? Still have a couple of players, to drain the flex I have left.
Where it came from: I played 3rd base and coached men's softball teams for 27 years. Also, Coached and managed my oldest Son's Boys LL Baseball team, as both my son's played from ages 6 to 16, nearly keeping the entire team together for 10 seasons. I kept it all together, I taught my pitchers HOW to pitch, taught them how to slide into 2nd base, everything they learned about the game, was taught to them by me. We went from being a win-less team the first two seasons, tho improving each season to eventually become the Undefeated Champions when they were 16 yo. After our very first-ever practice in our very first year I became Kenchi to them, they accepted me as their Teacher and Leader. Oh btw, my real name is Ken So this is my Real Username. I got one on Acme Corporation, North American Pro League. starting decline. They just posted today, they are going to shut it down.
Some of us are going to re-boot to burn remaining flex as long as we can. Build until it gone!!

What made me start to lose interest in that game is the cookie cutter builds, to much *build it this way* mentality took a lot of the player building fun from the game

The forums became not fun a long time back. Once Catch-22 joined it slowly deteriorated. Used to be such a good time though.

GLB is gone? If thats the case, JDB better be ready for an influx of new players. Watch out for multies and bungholes, of which there are a plenty. Didn't realize there were so many former glb'ers here. Agree with you Morbid, slowly it was actually the players that caused it to stop being fun anymore.
