A sack is when the QB 'only' is tackled behind the LOS. A Tackle, is made beyond the LOS by any defender.
Two different statistics. What's your point?

With that logic......What is a missed sack? Here, I'd prefer sacks to be recorded as a tackle too. I'd also like assisted tackles to be recorded, with missed sacks recorded as missed tackles.

Also, a half sack should be recorded as an assisted tackle.
