How can a team that finished undefeated not allow a team to score over 27 points all season and only throw 7 INT all season then proceeds to throw 3 INT and beat the team earlier in the season by 25 points lose to them in the conference championship game? Really sorry this just isnt logical at all especially losing in OT in the final seconds with INT. I wouldnt mind losing in the championship game like this but it seems like no matter how good your team is they lose in the conference championship game to a team that they dominated and a conference they dominated all season long.

Sounds like the dice were in your favor in one game and not in the other. Or maybe the opponent GP'd better for the championship or a combination of both. This also happens IRL, see the 2007 Pats who went undefeated during the regular season, including beating the Giants in week 17.
Unfortunately you probably don't go home to Giselle though.

This has happened 4 times here and it gets to the point of losing interest anymore.

If it's any consolation, I did the very same thing.......I got over it, but still didn't win a Championship yet!

See: The early 90s Buffalo Bills.
Hang in there. Unlike the Bills you'll get yours and it will be all that more sweet.

I can promise you that there is nothing in the game engine that would tip the scales against your team in the playoffs that doesn't exist in any other game - the game engine logic is identical whether it's a pre-season game, regular season game, or post season game. The only variables are the actual teams and their game plans, which if the game planning/matchups weren't the cause then it's also possible that you just suffered a string of really bad dice rolls, but most likely it's a combination of the two.

It happened years back against the Patriots, they destroyed the Jets in both season matchups only to lose to them in the divisional matchup. It does happen, I actually like the fact that you can make adjustments and win those games. Cant remember what league it was just last season but my team had 3 losses, 2 to a team that won my division and another to a playoff team and I beat both in the playoffs.
I dont see this as an issue, actually seems like you underestimated them and thought you would cruise by them

In 31, I beat you twice, I think by 2 and 3 points, and one game in OT. You won by 15 in the playoff game. It was not very close. On the other hand I experienced what they proposed. A well played season only to fall apart in the playoffs. But It all made sense enough to me. No gripes, in that game. Some teams fall apart under pressure. There is no bonus for picking the right game plan plays that week? Cause sometimes it feels like a guessed play on Tecmo Bowl.

I am a professional football coach in RL and I just cant see this happening like it did is all I am saying. I have seen a lot of strange things happen in football, but to lose like I did more or less 4 times in a row is more like buffalo bills meltdown.

98? Playoffs will haunt me for a long time.
Gary Andersons perfect kicking season...missed the play off kick. They already had Vikings (most potent offense ever) swag printed before they forgot to win against the falcons.
