Speed / Acceleration on Offensive Linemen by DarkRogue @ 9/04/2015 12:33 pm I was wondering how important speed and acceleration are on offensive linemen, do they matter at all?

Depends on whether you have many plays with pulling guards; for most plays it won't make much of a difference because they don't have far to go to get to their blocking target.

Yeah I had thought about guards pulling, but wasn't sure if acceleration had any effect on countering a DE that has an explosive first step or anything like that.
