How do I create more cap room? Do bonuses directly affect the cap room? These may seem like dumb questions, but I've been having trouble with it lately.

Base salary + bonus = total cap cost for that year.

You can only increase available cap space by decreasing the total salaries + bonuses, either by cutting players or signing them to new, cap friendlier deals.

Well you only need to hit the bonus total when signing a player, so base salary doesn't really matter for resigning players other than the bonus cap being 75%. Basically if you have guys with high base salaries you may be able to reduce their cap hit by resigning them for whatever bonus they want with the bonus at 75%

Make sure you save enough for L72 EQ
