I already read the blog post regarding coaches, but still have a few questions.
1) after draft, can I still promote position coaches within my team? (if so, I assume the spot he is being hired to would be fired so how would that affect the team's money?)
2) would I have to fire the higher level coach first before promoting? (if promotion is possible after draft)
3) for the replaced coach that presumably gets fired, can they be re-hired back as a position coach within same season? (again after draft)
Thanks in advance for reply.
Edit: Perhaps this thread should be moved to Community Help forum rather than here... stupid me.

Only one I can comment on is 3 and I'm unsure about after the draft...But I fired a DC and promoted a position coach in his place....Then rehired the old DC to the position coaches old position....

1. Yes. Not sure (don't care) about the money.
2. Firing someone is automatic when you hire someone else for that position. You can't fire someone manually and leave that position open.
3. Yes. They can be hired by any team, including yours.

There is no long-term money effects for coaches like there are for players. The coach salary counts against your cash flow based on the coaches you have on staff, nothing more, so when a coach is fired his entire salary is freed up.

Anyone know which coach calls plays? HC OC DC? Will it help if everyone has the same coaching philosophy?

You actually have full control over what plays are called. The head coach determines what plays you can choose from to build your game plan. The reason the coordinators don't influence the playbook is because that would make the coordinators more valuable than your head coach.

If the OC and HC have a very different philosophies ie heavy run vs heavy pass, will that make any difference for training camp or the season? Or is it just for plays?
