I'm not getting any email alerts right now even though my account is set to receive them, anyone else?

It looks like you reported one of the e-mails as spam on Oct 3 and so our provider is blocking future mail going to your address. They are pretty aggressive when this happens, they block me from sending you any email for a full year whenever someone reports it as spam.

Can't remember doing that but anyway.. So there is no way to reverse this?

edit: just been through my spam & junk, there is nothing from MFN in there, odd.

I have removed the block manually - you should start getting them again. I don't know what it takes to cause a message to get marked as spam, it seems to be pretty easy in Yahoo Mail because I do get a lot of strange spam reports from them (not just here but in all my projects)

I don't know if this is related, but I have been getting quite a lot of spam from my contacts, I'm sure there is a name for it where a spammer gets your contacts info then sends spam from them, strange, but it has been happening.

I doubt it's related unless you just had a day of rapid fire marking them as spam and accidentally did one of the MFN e-mails. I have had an uptick in those kinds of spams as well, all they have to do is somehow get access to your address book (or one of your friends who has you in their address book) - be sure you have good, secure passwords everywhere!

Yes that is the most likely reason, been flat out at work and pretty tired when I get in.....getting old

No notifications have come through. I've also been into my account and redone my settings.

Ok they've all now come through in my junk, hopefully back to normal now

I've often wondered if yahoo automatically marks an e-mail as spam if it's in your spam folder for a certain amount of time. I manage another system that is primarily an online transaction processing system and frequently get transaction confirmations reported as spam and other e-mails that are only sent when the user specifically requests them to be sent, almost 100% of the time it's to a yahoo address. Either it's happening automatically or it's really easy to mark it as spam when you intend to delete it.
