Speaking of which, I'm getting a **** load of rejected names. (When trying to edit my players names) Can anything be done about that?

Are you getting an auto fill response as you type the names? As long as you choose a name from that list it should accept it unless there is a player in the league with that name already.

From what list? I doubt my brand new league (MFN71) has these names in the league already.

^ These are three of the names it rejected. I even tried to change Gerry to Gary. It still rejected it.

It also did not allow Willie Beamen. I had to make it Willie Beaman. (for that name to take) I wanted Steamin Willie Beamen, but that definitely wasn't allowed.

LMAO...hey now this guy was a free agent over in CUST-35 at a Safety and I moved him to a LB spot.But sorry I had to sign him for the name alone even tho he is pretty small and worthless overall,but the name "Dong Blade" was just too hilarious! Plus it gives the PA at games fits if he ever makes a tackle!...LOL! Go Donger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are restricted to use names in the database, which contains the top 1,200 first names and 88,000 last names in the US 2000 census - there is no first name "Deacon" or last names 'Lastik' or 'Bertier'. The best way to pick a name is to start typing what you are wanting and see what comes up in the autofill.
