Once again the AI has made a completely insane pick at 1.1.

Surely there must be something that can be done to prevent this type of thing from happening. There is no human owner to blame this on.

To me, this is just as detrimental to a league as questionable trades.

There have been some bad picks but that might be the worst one I've ever seen the AI make. Looks like they were shooting for the least volatile player in the draft. Wow...

well only thing that could be done is:

1. Admin drafts for all computer owned teams ( that would be a pain)
2. that the drafts for the leagues wont start regardless if it is a allocation draft or regular one until all 32 teams are taken ( don't think people would be happy about this)
3. somehow the admin makes it where the computer owned teams drafts the highest rated player in the draft ( I could see problems with this)
4. admin makes it where whoever picks up that team like that when a computer makes boneheaded picks that they don't take the salary cap hit ( this might make it worse)
5. also he could make it where a player could cut the player and he gets a draft pick for future draft or drafts ( I admit people could abuse this )


that's about all I can think of that the admin can do unless someone else out there can think of other ways to make it work where I will leave the floor open so others can post what ways they can think of that would fix this problem.

AI should always draft the 'best available player' by ratings for league parity.

On a team with two 70+ defensive tackles no less!

Hmmm, yeah, that's pretty bad, something is being exposed there that didn't show up in my testing. I'll see if I can get a patch today.

I think part of it may be that the default value for volatility seems to be 50, which is too high in my opinion.

Similarly bad player by the AI at 1.6. Overall low 40s, but 0 Volatility.
