I just joined and I already have 63 rules for my two teams. I want to add more, but:

a) When I try and change a specific rule on the list to call plays, and I click save, it scrolls back up the top and I lose my place and its very difficult to find again.

b) There is no sort/filter or separation of them so it really makes the eyes hurt


So my question is, are there any scripts/plug ins that adds anything to make this easier to navigate? I used to play a game called goal line blitz way back and the AI feature (pretty much the same as rules on MFN) was easier on the eyes and easier to change specific 'rules' without it scrolling back to the top. Or are there any tips/tricks yall have found to combat this?

The rules definitely need an overhaul.

I would actually use more than just a couple if wasn't so difficult to maintain.

Im glad im not the only one. Its a great feature and definitely useful but if I have to kill myself to find them everytime I want to change them then its almost more worth it to go with basic settings.

I try to perfect other areas of the game plan to compensate for my pretty much ignoring the implementation of rules.

It seems like a labryinth to me one can get lost in.....forever. LOL

I've been here a year and have zero rules. Ha. Time consuming. Probably would be beneficial but I'll just let my coaches figure it out or get fired.

Something SO simple as simply being able to name the rules would be the #1 (IMO) best idea ever. Quite often I want to put a rule in and have many similar ones, so then I have to go into edit to make sure which one is is which, all unnecessarily time consuming.

Yes I agree 100%. if they had names I could just search the page at least and find it.

I know we've been asking for this for well over a year. I'm sure I'm not as good of a coder as JDB, but I could do this in 5 minutes, 10 if I wanted to make it look fancy.

The really frustrating part is that they DO have names (if you've saved them).

It should be so easy to just display those names that even a caveman could do it!

So lets make it happen. I don't even believe this is any hard coding, it should just be HTML based perhaps, which is the easiest way of coding.
